Rebecca Kerlett leads the team responsible for the governance and development of current and future initiatives to progress Australia’s 2023-2030 Australian Cyber Security Strategy.
Previously, Rebecca worked in the National Office of Cyber Security alongside Commonwealth, state and territory agencies to coordinate consequence management activities for nationally significant cyber security incidents.
Currently within the Cyber Policy and Programs Branch in the Department of Home Affairs, Rebecca has spent her career in the Australian Public Service, commencing within the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service and remaining within the evolving architecture of the now Department of Home Affairs since 2013.
Rebecca has worked across a range of policy, regulatory and operational spaces within Home Affairs, including international policy, customs policy and trade reform, critical infrastructure regulatory policy, strategic policy and program management, and support to operations. Rebecca holds a Master of International Development, and a Bachelor of International Relations from La Trobe University.

Andrew Jamieson has over 30 years of experience in working with payment systems and emerging technologies. Andrew has worked for a number of different companies creating new technologies in the areas of payment systems and consumer products. In this capacity, Andrew has written a number of payments and security based patents, which have been granted around the world, as well as creating or assisting with the formalisation of security testing standards for payments acceptance, HSMs, and IoT systems.
Andrew has a B.Eng (EE with honours), M.Sc (InfoSec), and was recognised as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff within UL. He has presented talks on payment and security around the world, has written a comprehensive book on payment security and compliance, and has worked as an adjunct Professor for NYU to produce content for an online mobile payment course.
Andrew now works as VP, Distinguished Standards Architect at PCI Security Standards Council helping shape the future of payment security.
Security Evangelist | AusPayNet
Paul Creswick is the Security Evangelist at Australian Payments Network. He is responsible managing the technical committees that set the security rules for participation in AusPayNet's payments and infrastructure systems and frameworks. He has over 30 years’ experience in the financial industry. He contributes to the development of standards for use within the global payments community through participation in the Australian Standards Organisation and International Organization for Standardization, ISO, and is an EMVCo Technical Associate as well as participating in several PCI SSC working groups.

Riaz Hussain is Head of Security Standards & Transformation at Australian Payments Network (AusPayNet). He is responsible for security standards, frameworks, and policies for payments, including sponsorship of industry-wide programmes.
Riaz has more than 30 years’ experience in technology leadership across financial services in the Asia Pacific, Europe, and United States. He holds an Masters Degree of Science from Sheffield Hallam University, UK.

Mark Williams is the AES Migration Program Engagement and Change Lead. He has 30 years of experience in leading change, ranging from systemic innovation and new service development through to technology modernisation and digital venturing.. Mark has broad experience in the payments system landscape including deep knowledge of the regulatory environment and is passionate about industry-wide systemic change and innovation. Prior to this role, he was the Chief Strategy Officer at BPAY Group, responsible for its long-term and sustainable growth including Osko, the first overlay service on the New Payments Platform.
