Andy has over 25 years’ international experience, incorporating roles at the Bank of England, LCH.Clearnet and the Australian Securities Exchange. He is a graduate of Oxford University and AICD. Andy also holds advisory roles on the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, Emerging Payments Association Asia, and the editorial board of the Journal of Payments Strategy and Systems.

Paula Gilardoni

General Counsel & Company Secretary

Paula has over 20 years’ experience advising on legal, regulatory and strategic matters in the payments industry. Prior to joining AusPayNet, she was General Counsel at a payments fintech and a partner at KPMG Law and Gilbert + Tobin before that.

Lynette Hickey

Chief Financial Officer

Lynette brings over 20 years of finance and business management experience to AusPayNet. She has held various senior management roles within PwC, predominately the Assurance and Business Advisory Group working with start-ups through to large multinationals. Most recently Lynette was the CFO for the Converga Group.

Rajat Jain

Chief Strategy Officer

Rajat has over 20 years of payments industry experience in strategy and transformation roles. He was a Partner at Deloitte before joining AusPayNet, and led their payments practice in Australia from 2017-22. Prior to that, he served at American Express in the US, Australia, and Singapore for over a decade, including as Head of Strategy for A/ NZ and as Head of Consulting and Business Transformation for APAC & Japan. Rajat is a merit-listed Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Annette Young

Chief People and Culture Officer

Annette brings over 25 years of experience shaping cultures that empower people and drive organisational growth. Annette has worked with CEOs and executives in corporate and non-profit settings to build high performance teams, boost employee engagement, and encourage commitment, collaboration, and innovation. Her expertise spans remuneration, employee relations, talent management, and strategic leadership, and she is widely regarded as a thought leader in the People & Culture profession.

Luke Wilson

Chief Operating Officer

Luke has worked in the payments and financial services industries throughout Asia Pacific. He has held executive roles across various functions including operations, customer acquisition and relationship management. Luke’s experience in these industries spans 20 years, most recently as Chief Customer Officer at Indue and prior to that in various executive roles at Experian and First Data.

John Brogden AM

Chair

Mr Brogden was appointed as independent Chair in January 2022. Mr Brogden is an experienced Chairman, Non-Executive Director, Executive and former Member of Parliament with more than 30 years’ experience in the public sector, financial services, professional associations, and not-for-profit organisations.

Lynda McMillan

Deputy Chair

Ms McMillan is Head of Payments Representation at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. She was appointed as a director in April 2018 and was appointed by the Board as Deputy Chair in December 2019.

Ms Armour has extensive experience in financial services and corporate regulation. She was appointed as an independent director in January 2025.

Sarah Brown is the Head of RBA Banking. She was appointed as director in March 2025.

Kathryn Carpenter

Kathryn Carpenter is a Managing Director (Domestic Payments & Liquidity, Global Transaction Services) at Westpac. She was appointed as a Director in August 2025.

Simone Joyce

Ms Joyce is CEO and co-founder of Paypa Plane. She was appointed as director in February 2025.

Jackie Kallman

Ms Kallman is Head of Payments Industry and Engagement at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. She was appointed as a director in April 2018.

Navaid Khatib

Mr Khatib is the Head of Product Management, Global Payments Solutions, HSBC Australia and New Zealand.

He is a seasoned financial services professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry, specializing in Transaction Banking solutions across Payments, Collections, Corporate Cards, Liquidity Management, and FX products

He was appointed by the Electing Members as a director in October 2025.

Krystle Ritchens

Ms Krystle Ritchens is the APAC Payments Innovation Product Director at J.P. Morgan. She was appointed by the Electing Members as a director in October 2025.

Dianne Shay

Ms Shay is Head of Payments Industry at National Australia Bank Limited. She was appointed by National Australia Bank as a director in December 2019.

Bronwyn Yam

Ms Yam is the Chief Product Officer at Cuscal Limited. She has over 25 years experience in financial services and consulting services. She was appointed by the Electing Members as a director in October 2025.
