Treasury’s 2023-24 pre-budget consultation

In January 2023, we responded to Treasury’s 2023-4 pre-budget consultation, which called for submissions on views regarding priorities for the 2023-24 budget.

Our submission supported a budget delivering on digital transformation and expanding Australia’s digital economy. By strategically driving the transformation of the payments system, Australians stand to gain from the opportunities to further innovate world-leading payment services, enjoy efficiencies in payments to manage their lives, and be protected from economic crime.
