Earlier this month, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg introduced into Parliament legislation to create the Consumer Data Right.
Overseeing the development of the Rules framework for the CDR is the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, with support from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. The Data Standards Body (DSB) is writing the CDR Standards.
Our COO, Andy White, is on the Advisory Committee of the DSB.
In this session, Andy will provide an update on the new timeline for open banking – and the "Pilot program" announced late December 2018 by Treasury – along with insights on what's happening globally in open data, and the implications for Australia.
