As the digital economy dominates, and the internet moves from an advertising funded model to a commerce funded model, service providers need secure and convenient ways of building trust with their customers. To address this economy wide need, the Australian Payments Council (APC) led a programme of collaborative work to create a trust framework. The framework is designed to create interoperability between multiple competing customer facing solutions, delivering on privacy, choice and innovation goals.
